Cathy and I had so much fun with Nani in 2016. After winning the American National Specialty in September 2015, Nani’s next big show was to be Westminster Kennel Club in New York City in February. As a warmup to that show, Nani and I attended the big Alberta Kennel Club shows where Nani was awarded Best in Show all three days. And her winning ways continued throughout 2016.

In Canada, Nani ended the year as:
#3 All Breed Dog
#1 Female,
#1 Breeder Owner Handled Dog
#1 Herding Dog
#1 Old English Sheepdog.

Nani broke the previous record for number of all breed Best in Shows won by an Old English Sheepdog. This record was previously held by Comet (32 BIS), Nani’s Uncle.

Nani means beautiful in Hawaiian, and she truly is!
